The Best Keto Toaster Pastries Delivered

PBH Foods Keto Cinnamon Toaster Pastries

When you have not had a great keto toaster pastry in years, you take matters into your own hands. This was the case for toaster pastries for us. Since going keto, the one childhood breakfast item I miss is toaster pastries. I remember having breakfast in bed with a tall glass of milk and a strawberry or cinnamon toaster pastry. The difference between my childhood and now is I no longer consume the typical sugary toaster pastries I did back in the day.

I let go of many sugary sweets, and I am continually looking for the best keto desserts and keto snacks out there. Having a craving for a fantastic keto cinnamon toaster pastry I dove into the kitchen and started testing numerous keto toaster pastries. After a few tests and trials, we came up with the best recipe with the perfect nutrition profile to fit the keto lifestyle.

Below we will describe the ingredients we used for our keto cinnamon toaster pastries, the nutrition information for these keto toaster pastries, and of course, when and how to order these keto cinnamon toaster pastries and get these keto desserts delivered straight to your door.

Keto Cinnamon Toaster Pastry ingredients

When creating keto cinnamon toaster pastries, it is all about the ingredients. We never develop products without thinking about taste first. We always want to make sure our keto desserts taste amazing and have you question whether or not this is a keto dessert. The PBH Foods keto cinnamon toaster pastries are gluten-free and dairy-free. The base to these toaster pastries, much like all other PBH Foods desserts, is almond flour. We use almond flour because almonds are high in fat and offer a great gluten-free alternative to regular flour. I love specifically about almond flour because it has a slightly sweet taste that comes naturally from the almonds. Aside from the flavor profile, almonds have excellent nutritional value. Almond flour is incredibly rich in vitamin E. It is also rich in magnesium.

To sweeten these keto cinnamon toaster pastries, we decided on using a blend of sugars. We tried using erythritol but realized erythritol did not deliver the texture we desired. We finally decided to use a mix of allulose, monk fruit, and stevia. Using these blends of sugar allows us to sweeten our keto toaster pastries without adding refined sugars. Allulose is a monosaccharide or simple sugar. Allulose is absorbed by the body but not metabolized, so it is nearly calorie-free. Using these sugars allows people to eat our keto toaster pastries without having a rising their insulin levels.

These keto sugars are a great mix that taste like real sugar without the insulin spike. The other sugar we use, monk fruit, has no calories, carbs, or fat, which may be a great option for anyone watching their waistline. My favorite sweetener is stevia. I had to include it in the mix because stevia has 0 calories, but it is perfectly sweet. Stevia is 200-300 times sweeter than regular table sugar. I love it, and I believe it makes the filling of our keto cinnamon toaster pastries taste amazing.
